OBVIOUS continues to break barriers in the art world. First, Christie’s announced that it will sell an OBVIOUS AI-generated artwork at auction later this month. This week, Time Magazine named the artist collective one of the 50 Most Genius Companies of 2018, alongside Apple, Disney, and Nintendo.

Josie, Emma Stern, 2018

Emma Stern is a NY-based artist and the co-curator of net artist collective Post Vision. Her practice examines the physical attributes adopted by virtual avatars and online identities. How do these aesthetics pertain to young women, and to people who represent themselves as young women online? Her first piece for Digital Objects, Josie, is a 3D .stl object.
